To become the Hero of Eidos, complete all the quests around town.
Description
Hero of Eidos is a combination of multiple smaller quests in the town of Eidos that will help you get used to the game and explore the map a bit. Each quest inside the Hero of Eidos questline has a reward.
Your journey begins in Eidos with Arne.

Spoilers
Talk to Arne to start your quest.
Player: Hi
Player: hero
Unlucky Fisherman
Arne asks you to help Faragher, walk east from Arne to find Faragher and talk to him.
Player: Hi
Player: trout
Player: help
Faragher now gives you your first quest, Unlucky Fisherman. Press Ctrl + Q to see your quest log
He also gives you a fishing bag 
a fishing rod 
and a some worms
Right-click the water to start fishing. When you have caught two
trout talk to Faragher to finish your first quest.
Player: Hi
Player: trout
You will receive 2000 experience, 
leather shoes and 100 
gold pieces.
You have now completed the quest Unlucky Fisherman
Head back to Arne for a clue of the whereabouts of your next quest.
Carrot Harvest
Arne asked you to help George to harvest some carrots. Walk south-east to find George
Player: Hi
Player: job
George now gives you your second quest, Garrot Harvest.
Walk next to a 
carrot and right-click it to begin gatheringand wait for the gathering to finish. George needs 10 carrots
When you have collected 10 carrots talk to George again.
Player: Hi
Player: carrots
You will receive 2500 experience and a 
wooden buckler.
You have now completed the quest Carrot Harvest
Head back to Arne for a clue of the whereabouts of your next quest.
William's Mission
Now Arne tells you that William has lost something valuable in a cave nearby. Find William and talk to him.
Player: Hi
Player: help
William gives you the quest William's Mission.
He asks you to retrieve his knife from the cave just north. Be aware, the cave is populated by Cave Crabs
The chest is marked on your map to the south-west. Right-click the chest to open it and you will receive the knife. Once you have the knife you can head back to William.

You will receive 3000 experience and a 
leather headgear and some skills.
You have now completed the quest William's Mission
Head back to Arne for a clue of the whereabouts of your next quest.
Ian's Problem
Now Arne asks you to help Ian, a local painter who needs honeycombs.
Player: Hi

Ian gives you the quest Ian's Problem.
He asks you to collect 10 honeycombs for him.
You can gather honeycombs from the bee hives downstairs where the bees spawn. The places of the hives are marked on your map. Right-click a hive to harvest it. Once you have gathered 10 honeycombs head back to Ian.

You will receive 3000 experience and a 
leather gauntlets and some skills.
You have now completed the quest Ian's Problem
Head back to Arne for a clue of the whereabouts of your next quest.
Connor
Arne asks you to help Connor. Head east to find Connor.
Note that Connor only gives you kill tasks that do not show up in your quest log.
Task 1
Player: Hi
Player: granrot
You should see a monster head symbol on your map to the north-east mini-boss: Granrot, make your way up to the mountain and fight Granrot, keep in mind that he is fairly strong. You may need some 
health ampoules and 
mana ampoules to fight him.
When you have slain Granrot head back to Connor for your reward.
Player: Hi

You will receive 15000 experience and a 
short sword and some skills.
Task 2
Connor has another task for you. Next he needs you to kill Gazamadan in the Orc encampement.
Player: Hi
Player: quest
Head to the Orc Encampement south-east from Connor. You can find it on your map as a market called Og Madrah. Gazamadan is located in the southern part of the orc encampement. He is also marked on your map as a mini-boss just like Granrot.
When you have killed Gazamadan you can head back to Connor to finish your task and collect your reward.
