This page refers to the updated talent system. You can check how the talent system used to work by looking into Old talents.
Mechanics
You receive a talent point every 10 levels and can allocate them after choosing a subclass, at level 30. You can access your talents tree by pressing Ctrl + T or clicking the Talents button on you Actions Menu.
Talents are organized in tiers, and you can only move to the next tier of talents after you spend 10 points on the previous one. There are a few differences in talent ordering for each class and subclass, and a few talents are exclusive to some classes. For example, Spirituality is available only for mages and Shamans can have 15 points in this talent, while other mage subclasses can only have 10.
You can also get extra talent point by completing a few goals.
Extra Talent Points
- Finishing Hero of Eidos questline.
- Having skill 50 in Gathering, Brewing and Fishing.
- Collecting all 8 Golden Ornaments.
- Completing the Achievement Dungeoneering Master.
- Reaching 500 Achievement Points.
There may be a few more goals that reward you with a talent point, but were not validated by the writer so far
Some of these may require to log in again in order to be shown in talent window.
