New Player Guide to Zezenia

Introduction

Welcome to Zezenia Online, an MMO with UNLIMITED possibilities and activities to accomplish. There is a lot to do in this game and here we will cover the basics and send you off to do it all!

The Basics

Upon completing the tutorial you will be in Eidos. It is recommended you use fight mode by pressing CTRL+F as this will facilitate you in your hunting endevours. There are three NPC's which you should locate and communicate with as soon as possible in order to maximize your character.

Arne: This NPC will give you missions in forms of kill tasks and the rewards upon killing the given amount will be experience, golds, equipment, potions and skills (respective to your characters class). Completing a task will also grant you a 25% chance to open a Royal Rescue Chests.

Thorvald/Osvald: Both these NPCs give you tasks, Thorvald is available for free account users while you need premium to travel to Bersund and talk to Osvald. All the tasks consist of killing monsters or handing in a monster's collectable items. The monster you get/collectable you hand in is chosen at random but the monster/collectable is suited by your level and difficulty at which you choose. Once completed you can choose what you want as a reward, experience, gold or TRAINING. Training is in bold because this is the best way for you to complete your training.

Thorvald	Osvald

Through training you get the following;

Warriors get Melee and defending up.
Rangers get Distance and defending up.
Mages get defending up. Magic level has no training exhaust so it could theoretically be trained 24 hours a day.

Buy Blessings as early as possible because the price does scale up the higher your level becomes.

As EARLY as possible, you should visit either Thorvald or Osvald to complete a task and hand it in for training.

Leveling and Skilling

Zezenia has a lot of side quests that many people don't know give you great rewards such as a raise in skill and experience!

Before you go on to bigger and better hunts you should complete all of the following side quests to get a boost in skills, better equipment and some cash!

Here is a list of quests you should be able to complete by yourself (one with a partner)!
Granrot Quest (gives you experience, skills and class specified equipment)
Smugglers (gives you experience, skills and equipment)
Gaius (kill 10 Hooligans and gain skills, need a partner to help you with the dungeon)

Questing and Achievement Points

Zezenia has a lot of quests. If you check the quests section of this wiki you can find COUNTLESS. Certain quests you can hand in every 22 hours. If you ever feel like grinding 4,000 challenge points, or challenge points in general you should definitely look into completing some daily tasks!

Achievements are a BIG part of the game. Where you get points for completing certain aspects of Zezenia. Obtaining achievement points is almost a necessity because you need a certain amount of points to get access to bosses and complete quests! So grind the achievements and aim to get 600 achievement points!

Money-making tips

Farming gold on Zezenia is pretty simple and could yield great skills that could help you in the long run!

A very great way to farm cash without tirelessly killing mobs of monsters is by gathering ingredients and selling it on the market. An entire outline listing the ingredients and what they're used for is found in herbs.

The two main ingredients you should focus on gathering early for cash are Four-leaf clovers and Sugar beets as they are two of the most sought after ingredients because they are in almost every potion.

You could also save the herbs you gather and begin to work on your brewing at an early level and sell potions.

If you are more level oriented, more about getting experience while making money, then another way and probably the most lucrative way to make money is to take on kill tasks from Thorvald and Osvald and taking the gold reward.

Monsters generally drop a collectable which could be sold at a very good price on the market because they are used as collect tasks by Thorvald and Osvald and are sought after by other players wanting to complete their task. You will almost ALWAYS make a profit when doing a kill task and getting gold as the reward.

Free and Premium Content

Like most games, Zezenia offers premium and free account content. There are NUMEROUS ways for you to get premium, which gives you access to great spawns, quests and you even lose less experience when you die as a premium! Which you can find out here (Death and death loss recovery)
